Success with Sight
1 in 4 children in the United States have a vision problem that affects their ability to learn. As a result, children with vision problems may miss important social cues necessary for positive social interaction with other children and adults. Positive social interaction and emotional awareness is important in a child's developmental growth, and leads to greater life satisfaction.
Our Success with Sight (SWS) program supports the awareness of good vision care with parents, teachers and other child advocates. We partner with vision care professionals to provide free vision exams and eyeglasses to children of families at or below poverty level without vision insurance.
Success with Sight provides children with a foundation for successful learning for both school academics and creative arts. Children who qualify for the SWS program are also eligible to attend Focus On Love Foundations photo-emotion workshops at no cost.
